Moon Radishes for Bokken

Your step-by-step guide to completing the Moon Radishes for Bokken errand in Pathfinder: Kingmaker, including combat and dialogue options.

Alright, so you've picked up a little errand from Bokken over at Oleg's Trading Post. He needs some special Moon Radishes, and you'll find them in the Old Sycamore area. Getting there from Oleg's is pretty straightforward – just head South, then Southeast a couple of times, then Southwest, South, and finally Southwest again. Easy peasy!

Once you're in the Old Sycamore area, make your way to the central hill. You can approach it from the north, and then you'll want to explore the western side of that hill. Keep an eye out – you'll find a patch of Moon Radishes, and a group of Kobolds are snoozing right alongside them.

Now, here's where it gets interesting. You can totally just try to grab a radish, but that'll wake up an old Kobold who's not too happy about it. If you decide to go the violent route, you'll have to fight a Flame Shaman, two Sentinels, and two Archers. It's a tough fight, and some of the radishes might get damaged in the process, but you'll get what you need.

However, if you're feeling more diplomatic (or just want to avoid a scrap), you've got options! You can try to steal one with a Trickery check (DC 19), which is a Chaotic Neutral act. Or, you can pick the dialogue option “About that radish…”. From there, you can either offer to share half your haul with them (Lawful Good), try to convince them to share with a Diplomacy check (DC 18 – Neutral), or just straight-up intimidate them (DC 17 – Neutral Evil) to take the radishes. If you're feeling particularly nasty, you can even intimidate them and then just kill them anyway!

No matter how you get them, once you have the Moon Radishes, just head back to Bokken. You'll get 60 XP for gathering them, and another 165 XP and 200 GP for bringing them back to him. Easy quest, good rewards!
