Locate all six Lifesprings in the Grasslands region of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. Follow our guide to find the Cragshade, Wetlands, Morass, Grasswastes, Mako Pipeline, and Cavern Lifesprings.
Expedition Intel allows you to see the location of useful hidden items around the map. Lifesprings are a bit more difficult to find than some other intel types as they are small and are generally tucked away. To make finding them easier, look for an orange owl and follow it as it will lead you to the Lifespring. If it gets out of your sight, just wait a bit, and it will respawn at the starting point.
Like with Remnawave Towers, you have to interact with the crystal at the intel area to activate them. All this requires is playing a short rhythm-like mini-game, and the location will be complete. You will also find precious items at the lifespring, such as Rubies, so be sure to pick them up before you go.
- 1Grasslands Expedition Intel Lifespring #1: The first intel is the Cragshade Lifespring located on top of a cliffside north of Bill’s Farm. Follow the owl to find the path up.
- 2Grasslands Expedition Intel Lifespring #2: The second intel is the Wetlands Lifespring. It’s southeast of Bill’s Farm beside the Wetlands Remnawave Tower. Climb up some marked rocks, guided by the owl, to reach it.
- 3Grasslands Expedition Intel Lifespring #3: This Lifespring, the Morass Lifespring, requires using your Chocobo to cross the swamp. Climb stairs to reach it.
- 4Grasslands Expedition Intel Lifespring #4: The Grasswastes Lifespring is located just a bit west of the city of Kalm. It’s sitting out in the open and easy to reach.
- 5Grasslands Expedition Intel Lifespring #5: The Mako Pipeline Lifespring is sitting in the desert area southeast of Kalm. It is in the open and does not require climbing.
- 6Grasslands Expedition Intel Lifespring #6: The last Lifespring, The Cavern Lifespring, is hidden in a cavern. Follow the owl to find it.
After unlocking all Lifespring locations, you will have the missing points of interest that didn’t appear after unlocking Remnawave Towers. You’ll also have unlocked the Quetzalcoatl battle, needed to help repair the Windmill Settlement.
