Kalm: Chapter 2

Alright, so you've woken up after that flashback in Kalm, and surprise! Your whole crew's vanished. Time to play detective and track 'em down. First things first, head out of the inn. Red XIII will be waiting for you right outside. Your next stop is the Armed and Dangerous Store, which is just up the stairs to the north on your map. It's a good idea to spend some time here and grab any weapons or accessories that'll give you an edge.

After you've sorted out your gear, make your way to Maghnata Books in the southeast part of town. Here, you can pick up some folios using your hard-earned SP. Once you're all set, head up the stairs to the northwest. This will take you to the Clock Work Plaza, where Aerith is waiting for you at the end of the path.

Head up the stairs there to kick off a little scene. Uh oh, Shinra shows up, and you'll need to come up with a quick escape plan. To get started, head back down to the tower entrance. Broden will be there with a plan already cooked up. Follow him until you reach some scaffolding. Climb up and carefully make your way across the narrow platform – it leads back to the inn safely. From there, climb down into the underground passage. Follow it along, and you'll eventually find yourself back in the Grasslands Region. Don't forget to snag the chest with some sprigs of laurel on your way out!
