This guide provides tips and strategies for the Glide de Chocobo minigame in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, covering all three training courses.
Training Course No. 1 Tips
The first course is located on the path between the Airstrip and the Chocobo Ranch. To start, inspect the sign to the right of the board sticking over the canyon. Hold down the R2 button to begin gliding. Releasing R2 will cause your Chocobo to plummet. Pressing either analog stick down initiates a dive, and pressing up allows you to ascend. While not essential for the first course, this mechanic is crucial for later ones. Fly through all rings for the best score; retrying is recommended if you miss any. After the third 100-point ring, updrafts from propellers will provide a boost. Continue gliding through the second stretch until another updraft. In the final stretch, you may need to briefly release and re-press R2 or use the dive mechanic to adjust altitude for rings. At the end, choose to release R2 or dive to pass through the two 500-point rings stacked on top of each other.

Training Course No. 2 Tips
The second training course is northeast of the Chocobo Ranch. Head north, take the leftmost path to an area with Skeeskee and Basilisk enemies. Continue on the trail marked with the Cosmo Canyon sign to another enemy area. Training Course No. 2 is on the southern side. This course is more challenging and requires dives to collect all rings. Before starting, wait for the first 300-point ring to be almost fully to the left before holding R2 to lift off. This helps align your trajectory. Beyond minor adjustments, primarily hold R2 to glide. After the last 300-point ring, you'll turn left towards a Remnawave Tower. The ring near this tower is where you'll perform your first dive. Hold down on a stick to dive, then quickly switch to holding up on a stick as you approach the upright ring to ascend through it. You'll have another chance immediately after if you miss. An updraft follows, leading to the final section. Upon being boosted upwards, the first two rings are manageable, but you may need to descend slightly for the 500-point ring. Immediately after hitting that ring, dive through the next set of rings and pull up near the bottom. The final two 500-point rings are moving and can be difficult to hit, as can the very last two rings. Clipping the top of the moving 500-point rings might help you reach the final rings.
| Target Score | Reward |
| 3600 | Moogle Medal x2 |
| 5400 | Chromite Ore x5 |
| 7200 | Cosmoite Ore |
Training Course No. 3 Tips
The final course is located directly behind the Chocobo Ranch, accessible through the main building. This is the most challenging course, especially towards the end. At the start, two moving rings will intersect. Wait until they cross before holding R2 to glide through both without moving. Following this is a short slaloming section to reach other rings before the first updraft. The second part involves two dives after passing through 100-point rings. For the first dive, wait a moment after the 100-point ring; the second dive is initiated slightly sooner. The second updraft leads to moving 300-point rings that ascend and descend. Pass through the first normally, but descend for subsequent rings. Be cautious of the updraft immediately following these rings. The final section is the trickiest. After the third updraft, hit the rings in order, potentially descending slightly for the 500-point ring. You'll encounter another 500-point ring, followed by a particularly challenging sequence.
