Walkthrough
- 1Start the Cactuar Caper minigame on the eastern side of Costa del Sol, above the Card Carnival. Speak to the Shinra Middle Manager.
- 2You will receive a camera (use the Up button on the D-Pad) and a map showing the general locations of four Del Sol Cactuars.
- 3Locate each Cactuar by framing it with the camera until the reticle turns green. A camera icon at the top of the screen indicates you are in the correct area.
- 4Del Sol Cactuar 1 Location: On the docks behind where you received the minigame, near the Card Carnival. Look at the rocks at the end of the higher pier.
- 5Del Sol Cactuar 2 Location: Head south from the minigame start point, past the noticeboard. Look for a small ramp leading to an upper section of town. Behind the large "Costa del Sol" barrel, find the southernmost of three fire hydrants; the Cactuar is on its side.
- 6Del Sol Cactuar 3 Location: Go to the Run Wild minigame location. Slightly south of it, on a rock formation, you will find the Cactuar.
- 7Del Sol Cactuar 4 Location: Towards the northern side of Costa del Sol, near the sign that says "Surf & Suntan" for the beach. Look at the left side of this sign.
- 8Once all four Cactuars are photographed, return to the NPC who gave you the minigame.
Tips
- If you are having trouble finding a Cactuar, look for the Shinra Middle Manager nearby, as he often appears close to them.
- If the camera icon at the top of the screen disappears, you have likely gone too far from the Cactuar's location.
- Stand back to get a clear shot of the Cactuars, especially those on rock formations.
- Companion Card for Aerith (used to obtain a swimsuit, required for story progression in Chapter 6).
