All Corel Expedition Intel Locations

Find all 6 Lifespring locations in the Corel region for final fantasy vii rebirth, including Secluded Grotto, Glencross, Oasis, Watermain, Stonebowl, and Rockspout.

Expedition Intel 1: Secluded Grotto Lifespring

The first Lifespring is located in the area just outside of Costa del Sol. Follow the path from the exit of Costa del Sol until you reach a split, then head south. Look for a wooden structure to your north. At the western end of this structure, look south to find a cave entrance next to a short tree. Enter this small cave to find the Lifespring.

Expedition Intel 2: Glencross Lifespring

From the first Lifespring, return to the path and cross the small bridge to the west. As the path turns south, you will see a climbable wall on your right. Ascend the wall, take the rightmost of the three paths, and immediately look left to find the Lifespring.

Expedition Intel 3: Oasis Lifespring

This Lifespring, along with the others in the Corel region, can only be accessed starting in Chapter 9. Begin at Wasteland Tower (the third tower) and find the road just east of it. When you reach the Sundappled Storehouses cache location, head southwest to find this Lifespring in the open.

Expedition Intel 4: Watermain Lifespring

This Lifespring is located near Riverside Tower (the fourth tower), slightly northeast of it, within a ravine. To reach it, look northwest of the tower for a large metal tube. Drive your Buggy through this tube, then head southeast to find the Lifespring.

Expedition Intel 5: Stonebowl Lifespring

East and slightly north of Stonearch Tower (the fifth tower), near The Borderland fast travel point, you will find this Lifespring. If you fast travel to the tower, look for a cave entrance nearby. Go through this short cave to emerge next to the Lifespring.

Expedition Intel 6: Rockspout Lifespring

Located in the southeastern corner, this Lifespring is accessible via a path behind Ravine Tower (the sixth tower). Go southeast from the fourth tower and find a downward path. Grapple up to the ledge with the sixth tower. Follow the linear path, and when you go up a hill in a circular area, take the opening about halfway up. You will know you are in the correct area if you see a Chocobo Stop and the Moogle house to the northwest. Continue northeast to find the Lifespring in a cave.

Finding two Lifesprings unlocks an Excavation Intel, with another unlocked after finding four total. Upon finding all six Lifesprings, you will unlock the Classified Intel: Heavy Lies the Crown, which pits you against the Tonberry King. Both Excavation Intels are required for Quests, and the Tonberry King encounter is also part of a Quest. Therefore, finding all Lifesprings is necessary to complete all side quests in the Corel region.
