Infiltrating Upper Junon

Interact with the Shiplift controls. Hold the control down until the tanker is fully lowered into the water, then hold it up to lift your teammates into Upper Junon.

Head upstairs to the airstrip, take the elevator down to the hangar, and follow the path to another elevator. Take this elevator to trigger a scene.

After the scene, head into the locker rooms and change into Shinra gear. Avoid approaching the lockers with Aerith and Tifa.

Exit the locker room and you will be brought to see the Commander. You will need to play a rhythm game by pressing the corresponding button when the diamond hits it.

After successfully performing in the parade, you will be promoted to Captain of Midgar’s Seventh Infantry.

To earn the 7th, Assemble! and Stealing the Show trophies, recruit all 10 members of the Seventh Infantry scattered around the main street of Upper Junon (Larboard Junon) before attempting the parade.

To earn the Stealing the Show Trophy, you need at least 100,000 upvotes and under 6,000 downvotes by the end of the parade. Use a formation of Flametroopers, Riot Troopers, and Grenadiers, and avoid missing button prompts.

After the parade, you will control Yuffie. Climb the scaffolding to a vantage point.

Aim your shot by hovering over the circle and waiting for your circle to shrink inside it before pressing the button.

The assassination attempt fails. Open the nearby chest for the Rune Blade, then head downstairs and through the Service Hangar.

Work your way through the hangar with the Seventh Infantry. To ensure all soldiers survive for the 7-Star Hotel Trophy (via the Stuffed Stamp for Johnny’s Inn Treasure Trove), tackle enemies one group at a time and use Mist Mega Potions to heal them. Create a separate save at the start of this section.

Use Triple Slash against groups of soldiers.

When you encounter the two Deathwheels at the end of the area, keep your distance and use elemental spells like Firaga, Blizzaga, or Aeroga, which exploit their elemental weakness.

Rest at the nearby bench to heal, then proceed to initiate a boss fight against Roche.
