Navigate the Amara Network in Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne HD Remaster. Learn enemy tactics, solve puzzles, and defeat Spectre.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
In the first "thin space" room (a type of area that alters reality), Hijiri will ask if you have found Isamu. If you lie and say yes, he will tell you to leave immediately because his terminal (a device for communication and data access) is malfunctioning. If you truthfully say no, Hijiri will instruct you to search further but to depart as soon as you find him, as his terminal is unusually unstable.
  2. 2
On B1F, you will encounter a Shinnentai (a type of demon) that warns you the residents of Amara dislike being disturbed and advises you to turn back. Upon proceeding, you will find many Shinnentai who agree, stating "I don't need anyone else" and blocking your path. To progress, after the first Shinnentai, turn right and go north around the corner. Another Shinnentai will appear and block your path. Turn left, pass the first intersection, and turn right at the second intersection. Go around the corner to the east, and turn north at the final intersection to exit the area. If you make a mistake, you can reset the room by traversing the westernmost or easternmost corridor.
  3. 3
The next floor, 1F, presents a similar navigational puzzle. Proceed east at the first intersection, west at the second, north at the third (continue north until you reach a wall), and then north at the final intersection to leave.
  4. 4
Further into the area, after the second save point (a location where you can record your progress), your acquaintance Spectre will teleport in, having been searching for you. He will attack you for a rematch.
Tips
  • Legion is the primary enemy to watch out for in the Amara Network. They can cast Mahamudo-on (a dark-based instant death spell), Hell's Eye (a skill that debuffs the party), and Tetrakarn (a skill that reflects physical attacks).
  • Having a few demons with Hama-based skills (light-based instant death spells) is highly effective against the enemies in this area.
