He and the other Manikins were being drained of Magatsuhi "Magatsuhi (Nocturne)") by some nasty demons. This is a really sad moment, leaving the Manikins without hope. ### A Second Chance But don't worry, Futomimi gets a second chance! He's reborn and called back into the Vortex World by the Afterlife Bell.
