Protect the Chocobo and defeat all foes in Final Fantasy Tactics Part 90. Learn about the three stages, laws, and rewards.
Walkthrough
- 1Round 1: Your mission objective is to protect the Chocobo and defeat all foes. The law forbids dealing more than 50 damage. You face two werewolves, a worgen, and a zaghnal. To save the Chocobo, you must either break the law or have an ultra-fast healer. Take out the Zaghnal first while forming a perimeter around the Chocobo. Breaking the law to quickly kill enemies is an option if you cannot slow them or protect the Chocobo with a healer. Hunters and Wind attacks, especially Shining Air, are recommended.
- 2Round 2: Your mission objective is to protect the Chocobos and defeat all foes. The law forbids actions by Moogles; they may only move and perform basic attacks. Ensure your Moogles sit out this round. With 4 enemy units and 4 of your units, bring Magick and Ranged units. Each Chocobo has a Wendigo and an Ice Flan attacking it. Splitting your force might lead to insufficient attack power, while taking them on with 4 units leaves one Chocobo uncovered. A ranged healer, like a Cannoneer with Potion Shell, is useful. Target the Wendigo first as it deals significant damage to the Chocobo. The Ice Flan deals about 60 damage with its Blizzard attack. Ranged physical attacks and melee unit abilities are effective against the Flan.
- 3Round 3: Your mission objective is to protect Popocho and his Chocobos. The law forbids actions by Humes; they may only move and perform basic attacks. Gria hunters are recommended for their attack power. You will encounter a Zahak (mega Drake) and a Ghost. Holy attacks are powerful against the Drake. Exorcise the Ghost to prevent it from returning or summoning more enemies. Drakes can use Sleet, which has a chance to Doom your unit. Take down the Ghost first, then the Drakes, and finally the Demon Drake.
Tips
- In Round 1, if you cannot control enemy movement or have a fast healer, breaking the law to eliminate threats quickly is a viable strategy.
- In Round 2, consider using two ranged units in two groups of two, focusing on the Wendigo first.
- In Round 3, Humes are less effective; prioritize units with high attack power like Gria hunters.
