Part 20: Mission Breakdown

Mission A1-15 ~ The Star Seal

This mission, titled 'The Star Seal,' is a battle-type quest where you'll need to investigate a mysterious 'Stone with No Name.' The Akademy folks might dismiss it, but legends say this stone holds ancient messages, and with the Star Seal, you can reach a hidden land. Let's uncover the truth!

Walkthrough

Objective 1: Examine the Stone with no Name!
- You'll start in Targ Wood. Keep an eye out for two small chests containing items – grab those first!

Your primary task is to defeat the enemy Baknamy.

Once the Baknamy is dealt with, head over to the 'Stone with No Name' and examine it.

Objective 2: Defeat all Foes!
- After examining the stone, the real fight begins. You'll face a Werewolf, 2 Wolves, 2 Sprites, and another Baknamy.

Strategy: Prioritize taking down the Sprites first, as they'll likely move quickest. Then, focus on the Wolves. After them, deal with the Baknamy. Finally, confront the Werewolf.

Tip for Werewolf: The Werewolf has 'En Garde,' which doubles its defense and allows it to counter for one turn. Be cautious when attacking directly. Wind damage is effective against it, so if you have 'Air Render' or similar abilities, use them.

Chest Location: There's another chest in this area, but it's a bit out of the way. You might want to send a weaker, faster unit to grab it to avoid unnecessary risk.

Remember that your previous stats carry over, so you should have enough MP and HP to handle this fight.

Mission A1-15 (Dispatch) ~ Defender

This is an escort-type mission. While it can be done via dispatch, tackling it yourself is more engaging.

Law Forbidden: Ranged Weapons (Attacks with bows, greatbows, guns, hand-cannons, and cards are forbidden).

Walkthrough:

Enemies: You'll face 3 Lamia creatures and 1 Lilith (an evolved Lamia).
Challenge: The Lilith can use 'Night,' which puts everyone to sleep. This is particularly dangerous since you can't use ranged attacks to keep distance. Blue Mages can learn this skill, so be aware if any enemies have it.
Chests: There are 2 chests with items on the map.
Strategy: The 3 Lamia are spread out and don't have many strong skills, making them easy targets for your mages to focus on. If your allies get put to sleep by 'Night,' you can wake them up by attacking them – a bit harsh, but effective! Focus on the Lamia first, then deal with the Lilith.
