Mission D4-07 ~ I've Been Had, Kupo!

This is a storyline mission where a Craftsmogle Foreman has been swindled by an alchemist named Nezzel. He's demanding you get his 20,000 gil back! The mission fee is 500 gil, and you've got 20 days to complete it. The reward is 1960 gil and three Kalos.

Your Mission Objective: Defeat Nezzel the Alchemist!

The Enemy Lineup:

• Nezzel (Alchemist): Has Flare, Poison, Toad, and uses Items.
• Black Mage: Uses Fira, Thundara, Blizzara, and Blizzaga.
• Time Mage: Uses Slow and Stop.
• Green Mage: Uses Blind, Sleep, and Silence.
• White Monk: Uses Roundhouse, Air Render, and Earth Render.
• Hume Thief: Uses Steal Gil, Iai Blow, and Blade Rush.

Strategy: Your main goal here is to take out Nezzel, the Alchemist, as fast as possible. Don't get bogged down fighting the other enemies, especially the Black Mage, as they can be quite tough. The height law is in effect, so try to keep your units on lower ground. Rushing Nezzel is the way to go; dragging the fight out will make it harder to manage the law. After the battle, you'll meet Ezel, who gives you a ward to protect your judge from banishment – super handy!

Mission D4-08 ~ Beneath the Sands

This mission comes from Ricard, a former treasure hunter, who needs you to find his buried treasure in Kthili Sands. He buried it ages ago and can't remember where it is. The mission fee is 500 gil, and you have 20 days. The reward is 6270 gil and a Wyvern Wing.

Law Forbidden: Summoning Scions. You absolutely cannot use any Summoning spells in this battle.

Your Mission Objective: Find the Buried Treasure!

The Enemy Lineup:

• 2 Antlions: Have Sandstorm, Saliva, Subidence, and Bonecrusher.
• Brown Chocobo: Has Choco Cure, Choco Beak, and Choco Guard.
• Yellow Jelly: Has Merge, Acid, Thundara, and Geomancy.
• Drake: Has Lightning, Thunder Breath, and Shockbolt.

Strategy: The key here is to find the buried treasure by searching the sparkles on the map. You'll need to move around and interact with them. It's a bit of a race against time and the enemies. If you're lucky, a sparkle might be close to your starting position, ending the mission quickly. However, the treasure could be at the very back of the map. Try to take out the monsters as you go, because they can interfere with your search efforts. Be careful with your movement, especially since the Drake can hit hard with its lightning attacks. Remember, no Summoning Scions allowed!
