Main Quest: Magdred Way

The primary objective is to find and protect Lonato, who is located in the stronghold in the bottom right corner of the map. The entire map is shrouded in fog, hiding enemy placements. As you explore, visited areas are uncovered. The Torch strategy increases the uncovered range. If Lonato is routed, you fail the mission. Head directly to the southeast corner, bypassing the southern stronghold as its western gate is locked. Proceed south from the center, then east, capturing the Forest Camp stronghold (its eastern gate unlocks upon capture) to reach Lonato. Defeat surrounding enemies to rescue him. Rescuing Lonato quickly lifts the fog.

The dense fog is magical in nature, caused by enemy Armored Knights. The Gaspard General is in the northwest corner, with Armored Knights attacking from the south and east. Since flying units may not be available, approach from the south. Send allies to protect the General. Assisting him reveals Lonato's location if you haven't found him yet.

Three Gaspard Militia units will be attacked by enemies early in the battle. They are marked on the map. Send allies to defeat the attacking Armored Knights, who are vulnerable to magic users.

If you didn't encounter Ingrid en route to Lonato, she will appear after his rescue and charge towards him. She is a Pegasus Knight, making her vulnerable to Bow users.
