Basically, at the start of each chapter, you'll be presented with up to three different suggestions. Whoever's idea you go with not only gets some Morale and Support Points, but their suggestion also gets implemented, giving you some sweet in-game benefits. While the choices might seem different, they usually all fall into a similar category for that chapter – you're not picking between offense and defense, but rather which specific class, weapon, or stat you want to boost.

Here's a cool thing: characters can suggest new Battle Suggestions after you finish Side Quest battles on the War Map. Even though Battle Suggestions pop up at the start of chapters from Chapter 10 onwards, there's a random chance that a character will suggest changing your active Battle Suggestion. This usually happens after you complete a new Side Quest battle. If you accept, the character who suggested the change gets Morale and Support Points without any downside to the previous suggestion's champions. So, free points! Just remember that accepting a new suggestion means swapping out your old one, so make sure you actually like the new Battle Suggestion before you agree to it.
