List of Bernadetta's Abilities and Arts

Learn all of Bernadetta's unique, learnable abilities, and combat arts in fire emblem warriors three hopes, including Personal Space, Persecution Complex, and Master of Concealment.

Bernadetta has three unique abilities that are always equipped: her Action Ability, Support Ability, and Tactical Ability. These can be upgraded through levels.

Unique Abilities:

Action Ability:

• Personal Space Lv 1: Press a button to create a zone of ice that increases critical hit rate. Has a long cooldown time.
• Personal Space Lv 2: Press a button to create a zone of ice that increases critical hit rate. Has a moderate cooldown time.
• Personal Space Lv 3: Press a button to create a zone of ice that increases critical hit rate. Has a short cooldown time.

Support Ability:

• Persecution Complex Lv 1: When hit by enemy attacks: grants a very low chance of temporarily increasing damage dealt to foes.
• Persecution Complex Lv 2: When hit by enemy attacks: grants a low chance of temporarily increasing damage dealt to foes.
• Persecution Complex Lv 3: When hit by enemy attacks: grants a moderate chance of temporarily increasing damage dealt to foes.

Tactical Ability:

• Master of Concealment Lv 1: When ordered to defend: increases damage dealt to enemies by 30%.
• Master of Concealment Lv 2: When ordered to defend: increases damage dealt to enemies by 40%.
• Master of Concealment Lv 3: When ordered to defend: increases damage dealt to enemies by 50%.

You can learn additional abilities and arts by ranking up through various classes. After learning an ability or art, you can equip up to 2 arts and 4 abilities regardless of your current class. This can be increased to up to 10 abilities after upgrading the Tactics Academy. If you learn multiple of the same Prowess (or similar) ability, they will combine into a stronger version. For example, learning Bow Prowess twice will grant Bow Prowess Lv 2, and a third time will upgrade it to Bow Prowess Lv 3.

Learnable Abilities & Arts by Class:

Myrmidon:

• 1-star: Rebellious Spirit - While guarding, causes the unit to perform a Perfect Guard for (Dex x 0.25%) of incoming attacks.
• 2-star: Sword Prowess - Increases damage dealt to enemies when equipped with a sword.
• 3-star: Grounder - Strike swiftly with a trio of slashes.

Soldier:

• 1-star: Backbone - Reduces the unit’s chance of getting knocked back by attacks.
• 2-star: Lance Prowess - Increases damage dealt to enemies when equipped with a lance.
• 3-star: Wheelsweep - Strike a wide area with a sweeping attack that also produces a shockwave.

Fighter:

• 1-star: Str +2 - Increases Str by 2.
• 2-star: Bow Prowess - Increases damage dealt to enemies when equipped with a bow.
• 3-star: Spiral Shot - Loose arrows at a wide surrounding area.

Monk:

• 1-star: Trust - When this unit is the active unit or an adjutant: increases the fill rate of the Adjutant Attack Gauge and Adjutant Guard Gauge.
• 2-star: Faith - Increases the recovery amount of healing magic.
• 3-star: Heal - Grants the unit Heal, or increases the spell’s potency if already learned.

Mercenary:

• 1-star: Vantage - When HP is at 50% or below: Perfect Guards restore a small amount of the Warrior and Awakening Gauges.
• 2-star: Sword Prowess - Increases damage dealt to enemies when equipped with a sword.
• 2-star: Firesweep - Generate a fiery cyclone.
• 3-star: Mercenary’s Ploy - Increases the critical hit rate of Mercenary, Swordmaster, and Mortal Savant class actions.

Thief:

• 1-star: Appraisal - Improves the quality of weapons and materials dropped by fallen enemy commanders.
• 2-star: Sword Prowess - Increases damage dealt to enemies when equipped with a sword.
• 3-star: Thief’s Wisdom - Adds an element to Thief, Assassin, and Trickster class actions. The element is determined by the active unit.
• 3-star: Iceblade - Lash at foes with an ice magic-based sword attack. Deals damage based on Mag.

Armored Knight:

• 1-star: Def +2 - Increases Def by 2.
• 2-star: Axe Prowess - Increases damage dealt to enemies when equipped with an axe.
• 2-star: Shredder - Cut enemies to shreds with a spinning axe attack.
• 3-star: Armored Infantry’s Wisdom - Nullifies status effects inside areas created by Armor Knight and Fortress Knight class actions.

Cavalier:

• 1-star: Desperation - When HP is at 50% or below: strong attacks will break an enemy’s guard.
• 2-star: Lance Prowess - Increases damage dealt to enemies when equipped with a lance.
• 2-star: Frozen Lance - Launch columns of ice at foes. Damage dealt will increase with Mag.
• 3-star: Knight’s Wisdom - Increases Warrior Gauge fill rate when using class actions of lance-wielding cavalry.

Brigand:

• 1-star: Wild Abandon - Greatly increases damage dealt to enemies, but also greatly increases damage received from them.
• 1-star: Swinging Fury - Perform a consecutive series of axe swings.
• 2-star: Axe Prowess - Increases damage dealt to enemies when equipped with an axe.
• 2-star: Spike - Launch the foes ahead into the air, then swat them away with a swing.
