Upgrade the Battalion Guild in fire emblem warriors three hopes to hire higher-ranking Battalions, increase endurance, and reduce costs. Requires Building Materials and Insignias.
Walkthrough
- 1The Battalion Master sells Battalions, which function as accessories that provide advantages against specific weapon or unit types and increase damage against them.
- 2Battalions have an endurance stat that depletes as the assigned character takes damage; the effect ceases when endurance is depleted, but fully recovers after each battle.
- 3The Battalion Guild facility is where you upgrade the services offered by the Battalion Master.
- 4Upgrades require two types of materials: Building Materials and Insignias, each in three tiers: Basic/Squire’s, Quality/Knight’s, and Lavish/Hero’s.
- 5These materials are progression-gated, with mid and high-tier variants becoming available as you progress the main questline.

Tips
- Battalions have ranks from E (lowest) to A (highest). While rank correlates with stats, some lower-ranked Battalions can be better than higher-ranked ones, especially for damage reduction.
- Upgrading Battalion equipment increases endurance, making it harder to lose Battalion effects, though it's difficult to sustain enough damage to deplete endurance significantly.
- Encampment upgrades increase the number of Battalions you can retain; by default, you can hold a substantial number, making this upgrade less critical unless you stockpile many Battalions.
- The upgrade names, such as “Conduct Unskilled Negotiations,” are unique.
