Discover how to earn Renown in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes by completing Main Quests and Volunteering at the Base Camp. Learn what Renown is used for.

Renown is a currency in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes that can be spent by examining the Journal in your Personal Quarters. You must unlock the Base Camp by reaching Chapter 4 in the main questline to access it.

How to Earn Renown

You can earn Renown by completing Main Quests or by Volunteering at the Base Camp.

Completing Main Quests grants Renown, but the amount decreases as you conquer more regions. Completing Side Quests, however, earns you Strategy Resources, which are vital for using strategies during Main Quests to recruit characters from other houses. Side Quests also provide other bonuses and allow you to utilize Surveying Spots upon capturing a region. Completing Side Quests can also restore Activity Points, which are used for Volunteering at the Base Camp. This makes neglecting Side Quests for Main Quests less straightforward for maximizing Renown.

Volunteering around the Base Camp involves talking to the Chore Master for various chores. You select a chore and allies to assist. Different allies are better suited for different chores, and chore outcomes are RNG-based. Performing well increases Renown gain. To maximize Renown through chores, you may consider save scumming by changing characters or chores for better results.

Volunteering consumes an Activity Point, which resets each Chapter. Unused Activity Points are lost, so use them before progressing the Main Quest. Completing Side Quests can restore some Activity Points, enabling more Volunteering and thus extra Renown.
