Unique Abilities

These abilities are always equipped to Hapi.

  • Nether Sigh Lv 1: Strong attacks and the unit’s final regular attack generate small zones in front of the unit that deal dark damage. Press the designated button to detonate the zones and cause a small explosion.

  • Power of Night Lv 1: When ordered to guard: increases damage dealt to enemies by 30%.
  • Power of Night Lv 2: When ordered to guard: increases damage dealt to enemies by 40%.
  • Power of Night Lv 3: When ordered to guard: increases damage dealt to enemies by 50%.

Learnable Abilities & Arts

You can learn these abilities/arts by ranking up various classes. After learning an ability/art, you can equip up to 2 arts and 4 abilities regardless of current class. If a character learns multiple of the same Prowess (or similar) ability, these abilities will combine into a stronger version. For example, learning Reason twice will give you Reason Lv 2. Learning a third one will bump it to Reason Lv 3.

Myrmidon

  • 1-star: Spd +2 - Increases Spd by 2.
  • 2-star: Sword Prowess - Increases damage dealt to enemies when equipped with a sword.
  • 3-star: Grounder - Strike swiftly with a trio of slashes.

Soldier

  • 1-star: Backbone - Reduces the unit’s chance of getting knocked back by attacks.
  • 2-star: Lance Prowess - Increases damage dealt to enemies when equipped with a lance.
  • 3-star: Knightkneeler - Perform a powerful lance thrust.

Fighter

  • 1-star: Str +2 - Increases Str by 2.
  • 2-star: Axe Prowess - Increases damage dealt to enemies when equipped with an axe.
  • 3-star: Swinging Fury - Perform a consecutive series of axe swings.

Monk

  • 1-star: Res +2 - Increases Res by 2.
  • 2-star: Faith - Increases the recovery amount of healing magic.
  • 3-star: Heal - Grants the unit Heal, or increases the spell’s potency if already learned.

Mercenary

  • 1-star: Vantage - When HP is at 50% or below: Perfect Guards restore a small amount of the Warrior and Awakening Gauges.
  • 2-star: Sword Prowess - Increases damage dealt to enemies when equipped with a sword.
  • 2-star: Firesweep - Generate a fiery cyclone.
  • 3-star: Mercenary’s Ploy - Increases the critical hit rate of Mercenary, Swordmaster, and Mortal Savant class actions.

Thief

  • 1-star: Appraisal - Improves the quality of weapons and materials dropped by fallen enemy commanders.
  • 2-star: Sword Prowess - Increases damage dealt to enemies when equipped with a sword.
  • 3-star: Thief’s Ploy - Gives Thieves, Assassins, and Tricksters a rare chance to instantly defeat non-commander units with class actions.
  • 3-star: Shadowblade - Lash at foes with a dark magic-based sword attack. Deals damage based on Mag.

Armored Knight

  • 1-star: Def +2 - Increases Def by 2.
  • 2-star: Axe Prowess - Increases damage dealt to enemies when equipped with an axe.
  • 2-star: Lightning Axe - Hurl a lightning-charged axe. Deals damage based on Mag.
  • 3-star: Armored Infantry’s Wisdom - Nullifies status effects inside areas created by Armor Knight and Fortress Knight class actions.

Cavalier

  • 1-star: Desperation - When HP is at 50% or below: strong attacks will break an enemy’s guard.
  • 2-star: Lance Prowess - Increases damage dealt to enemies when equipped with a lance.
  • 2-star: Frozen Lance - Launch columns of ice at foes. Damage dealt will increase with Mag.
  • 3-star: Knight’s Ploy - Guarantees the enemy’s guard will break when activating the class actions of lance-wielding cavalry with at least one bar filled.
