Morale in fire emblem warriors three hopes is a modifier that influences the damage a character deals. It is represented by a face icon (blue, orange, yellow, green from lowest to highest) and a three-segment bar. Each Morale gain typically increases the tier by one, requiring four gains to reach maximum Morale. Ending a chapter resets all character Morale to its lowest value.

Morale Tiers and Effects:

• Base Morale: No damage bonus.
• Low Morale: +5% damage.

How to Increase Morale:

Several activities can increase a character’s Morale by one tier. Shez, the main character, does not gain Morale from giving gifts or from battle suggestions. Morale also resets to its lowest value at the end of each chapter.

2. Volunteering: Assisting with chores increases Morale by one tier.
3. Gifts: Giving a character a Gift improves their Morale by one tier, irrespective of Support Points gained.

5. Surveying Spots: Some Surveying Spots can boost the Morale of selected participants.
6. MVP Bonus: The character who earns MVP status after a battle gains one tier of Morale. This is a reliable method, especially for the player character, and is available in all battle types, including Main Quest, Side Quest, Extra Battles, and replayed battles via the Record Keeper. This is considered the most sustainable way to max out a specific character’s Morale as other methods are finite.
