How to Use and Upgrade the Training Grounds

Learn how to unlock and upgrade the Training Grounds in fire emblem warriors three hopes. Discover costs, materials, and effects of each upgrade.

Upgrading the Training Grounds:

After clearing a few Side Quests in Chapter 4, you will be prompted to expand facilities by a companion. Speak to the Facilities Master for more information on upgrading.

Upgrading the Training Grounds requires two types of materials: Building Materials and Training Gear. Each material comes in three tiers: Basic/Recruit, Quality/Veteran, and Lavish/Master. Higher-tier materials become available as you progress the main questline. You can find these materials by exploring Surveying Spots and purchasing them from the Supply Depot.

Upgrades List:

• Install a Training Dummy: Requires Basic Building Material x10, Recruit Training Gear x10, and 1,000 G. Increases training slots to four.
• Install Another Training Dummy: Requires Basic Building Material x10, Recruit Training Gear x10, and 1,000 G. Increases training slots to five.
• Install Yet Another Training Dummy: Requires Quality Building Material x10, Veteran Training Gear x10, and 1,500 G. Increases training slots to six.
• Install the Final Training Dummy: Requires Lavish Building Material x10, Elite Training Gear x10, and 2,000 G. Increases training slots to seven.
• Install the Actual Final Training Dummy: Requires Lavish Building Material x10, Elite Training Gear x10, and 2,000 G. Increases training slots to eight.
• Advanced Class Certification Exam: Requires Quality Building Material x10, Veteran Training Gear x10, and 1,500 G. Unlocks an advanced class.
• Master Class Certification Exam: Requires Lavish Building Material x10, Elite Training Gear x10, and 2,000 G. Unlocks a master class.
• Procure Better Training Weapons: Requires Basic Building Material x10, Recruit Training Gear x10, and 1,000 G. Slightly reduces the cost of leveling up.
• Procure Finer Training Weapons: Requires Quality Building Material x10, Veteran Training Gear x10, and 1,500 G. Reduces the cost of leveling up.
• Tutor Training Personnel: Requires Lavish Building Material x10, Elite Training Gear x10, and 2,000 G. Greatly reduces the cost of leveling up.
• Order Training Swords: Requires Basic Building Material x10, Recruit Training Gear x10, and 1,000 G. Slightly increases the effects of training for classes that use swords.
• Special-Order Training Swords: Requires Quality Building Material x10, Veteran Training Gear x10, and 1,500 G. Further increases the effects of training for classes that use swords.
• Order Training Lances: Requires Basic Building Material x10, Recruit Training Gear x10, and 1,000 G. Slightly increases the effects of training for classes that use lances.
• Special-Order Training Lances: Requires Quality Building Material x10, Veteran Training Gear x10, and 1,500 G. Further increases the effects of training for classes that use lances.
• Order Training Axes: Requires Basic Building Material x10, Recruit Training Gear x10, and 1,000 G. Slightly increases the effects of training for classes that use axes.
• Special-Order Training Axes: Requires Quality Building Material x10, Veteran Training Gear x10, and 1,500 G. Further increases the effects of training for classes that use axes.
• Order Training Bows: Requires Basic Building Material x10, Recruit Training Gear x10, and 1,000 G. Slightly increases the effects of training for classes that use bows.
• Special-Order Training Bows: Requires Quality Building Material x10, Veteran Training Gear x10, and 1,500 G. Further increases the effects of training for classes that use bows.
• Order Training Gauntlets: Requires Basic Building Material x10, Recruit Training Gear x10, and 1,000 G. Slightly increases the effects of training for classes that use gauntlets.
• Special-Order Training Gauntlets: Requires Quality Building Material x10, Veteran Training Gear x10, and 1,500 G. Further increases the effects of training for classes that use gauntlets.
• Order Training Tomes: Requires Basic Building Material x10, Recruit Training Gear x10, and 1,000 G. Slightly increases the effects of training for classes that use tomes.
• Special-Order Training Tomes: Requires Quality Building Material x10, Veteran Training Gear x10, and 1,500 G. Further increases the effects of training for classes that use tomes.
