The 1st coin is floating above one of the red rotating platforms. After grabbing that, head over to the spinning star platform and grab the 2nd coin, which is conveniently located above the 1-Up Mushroom.

Next, use your hover ability to fly from the white cube over to the yellow platform. You'll find the 3rd red coin waiting for you there.

Make your way up to the second rotating white cube. As it moves upwards, you'll be able to collect the 4th and 5th coins.

The last three coins are hanging out above the red and blue rotating platforms. The 6th coin is just ahead, within the path of the furthest blue platform. You'll need to be quick and time your jump onto the blue platform just right to reach it.

The 7th coin is right in the middle of the area, hovering above a red platform.

Finally, the 8th and last coin is down and to the right, situated above the blue platform in the bottom corner.

Once you've collected all 8 Red Coins, the Shine Sprite will appear on the green platform at the end of the area. Make sure you grab it before time runs out!

Tips

Don't waste precious seconds trying to backtrack or explore too much. Focus on the path and the coins.
FLUDD's hover function is your best friend here. Use it liberally to cross gaps or correct slightly mistimed jumps.
