Walkthrough

Once you have 10 Power Stars, go to the main lobby.

Locate the light shining down near the base of the stairs.

Stand on the sun icon on the ground.

Push the right analog stick forward to enter look mode.

Look straight up at the shining light to be transported to the Wing Cap Course.

Collect all eight Red Coins scattered in a spiral pattern along the outer portion of the map.

Activate the large red switch located on the tower below your starting point.

Obtain the Power Star.

Tips

The Red Coins are in pairs. Be careful not to miss one of each pair.
You need to collect the Red Coins upon first entering the secret area because you cannot gain enough height from taking off from the tower below where the red switch is located.
If you are losing altitude, you can nosedive for a second or two, then pull back on the analog stick to get a little extra boost back into the air.
