Once you've done that, head into the second area and hop onto the boardwalk. Look for the purple switch – hitting it is key! This will make two sets of blocks appear, acting like stairs. One set, the one closer to the switch, used to lead to the submarine. The other set, a little further away, is your ticket to the first Red Coin. Grab that coin, and you'll have two paths forward: one going further away and another to the side. Take the side path!

You'll find a pole. Jump on it and ride it to collect Red Coins #2, #3, and #4. That brings your total to four coins. Now, head back to that first platform and hop on the *other* pole. This one will take you to a platform with the shadow of the star. Again, you've got two choices: go deeper in the same direction or take another side path. You guessed it – take the side path again!

This next part is a bit of a juggling act. You'll need to transfer between poles twice before you reach a platform with the Blue Coin Block. Once you're there, you'll need to jump onto one more pole to snag Red Coin #5. After that, make your way back to the platform where the star's shadow is, and take the remaining pole.

When this pole reaches its end, you'll need to time a jump to another pole that's moving sideways. Ride this one to its end, and you'll collect Red Coin #6. Stick with this pole and wait for the right moment to jump to the pole on the opposite side of the metal grates. A good time to make this jump is when the poles are moving in opposite directions. Successfully landing on this final pole will let you grab Red Coin #7 and Red Coin #8, completing your set of eight!
