Alright, let's dive into Big Boo's Haunt in Super Mario 3D All-Stars and grab those eight Red Coins! They're all hidden within the main mansion, so let's head inside through the big front doors.

First up, on the ground floor, take the door on your immediate left. You'll see a piano in the corner. Get close enough to make it start moving, then sneak around behind it – there's Red Coin #1 waiting for you!

Now, go through the other door in that same room. This is the one with the possessed chairs. You'll need to do some platforming here; jump your way up to the top of the bookshelves to snag Red Coin #2 and Red Coin #3.

Head back to the main lobby. This time, enter the first door on the right side from where you entered the level. This room has thin ledges and a spooky Boo. Keep an eye out in the middle of this room, because that's where you'll find Red Coin #4. This room is also part of the 'Go On a Ghost Hunt' mission, so you might be doing double duty!

Back to the lobby again! Now, go up the stairs and take the door immediately to your left. You'll find yourself in a room with a tricky wire-frame grate floor. Stick close to the wall opposite the entrance to find Red Coin #5.

Let's make one more trip to the main lobby. Go up the stairs again and enter the first door immediately to your right. In the back of this room, some coffins will pop out of the floor. You'll find Red Coin #6 hiding under the first coffin on the right, and Red Coin #7 tucked away under the middle coffin on the left side.

For the final coin, go through the door to the right of the coffin room in the main lobby. Head to the other side of the bookshelf in this room, and you'll spot Red Coin #8 just sitting out in the open. Be careful near this spot, though – the floor can move, and you might fall all the way down to the merry-go-round area if you're not paying attention!

Once you've collected all eight Red Coins, the Power Star will appear in the main lobby, right on the second floor. Nice work!
