Five Itty Bitty Secrets

Alright, so for this star in Super Mario 64, called "Five Itty Bitty Secrets," you'll be heading into the Tiny Huge Island course. The goal here is pretty straightforward: find five little hidden spots. If you remember similar secrets from other levels, it's basically the same idea – find a spot, and a red number pops up. Since Mario's super-sized on this tiny island, these secrets are pretty easy to snag. When you first drop in, Long Jump over to where that Piranha Plant is chilling. Hit the purple switch there to make a path of breakable blocks appear. You'll use this path to get up to where those big iron balls are rolling down.

Now that you're in the main part of the course, head towards the hole where those iron balls are coming out of. Get close to it, and you'll find Secret #1. For the next one, you'll want to make your way to the little pool of water at the very top of the mountain. Be super careful on that narrow wooden path near the summit, it's super easy to slip off! Once you touch the hole in the water, you'll uncover Secret #2.

Next, drop down to the area you first entered through the doorway on Huge Island. You'll find the last three secrets down here. Secret #3 is actually the doorway you use to get into this area, but here's the catch: you can only trigger it from the opposite side you first came through. So, you'll need to approach it from the other direction.

The following secret is the entrance to the cave where you find the Red Coins. It's a pretty simple jump to reach Secret #4. Don't worry about being on the walkway to trigger it; just reaching the entrance is enough. For the final secret, make your way over to where the cannon is. Walk over the hole near the cannon, and that'll trigger Secret #5.

And that's all five secrets! You'll see where the star appears, but you still need to get to it. It's sitting on a small island that's not too far from where those Piranha Plants are. Head back to that spot, step on the purple switch again, and follow the path that pops up. That path will lead you right to the island where the star is waiting!
