Now, step onto the platform and start using the directional buttons to move. If you line yourself up just right, you can punch these boxes open while the elevator is moving and collect your first three Red Coins: Red Coin #1, Red Coin #2, and Red Coin #3. Timing is key here, so don't worry if you miss one and have to try again!

Once you've snagged those first three, keep an eye out. You should spot Red Coin #4 on a platform in a corner of the area.

Head back to the stairs and then to where the directional button elevator first appeared. Look out into the distance along the wall – you should see a ledge with a pole sticking out of it. You'll need to use a Long Jump to get over to that platform. Once you're there, climb the pole all the way to the top. From the top of the pole, you can jump off to another platform. This is where you'll find the automatic elevator.

Step onto this automatic elevator. It'll start moving on its own! Your main job here is to avoid obstacles like a breakable block you might need to destroy or some small platforms to jump over.

As you ride this elevator, you'll find Red Coin #5 floating in the air shortly after the breakable block. Keep moving, and you'll see Red Coin #6 waiting on one of the small platforms you have to jump across.

The very last two Red Coins, Red Coin #7 and Red Coin #8, are on a platform that the elevator passes by. You'll need to make a well-timed jump off the elevator to grab them before it moves too far.

Once you've collected all eight Red Coins, the star will appear right in the center of the room, on the ground. Nice work!
