Hidden Star: Wall Jumping up Waterfalls

First things first, you'll need to grab a shell from underwater. Once you have it, head to the shore on the left side of where you started. You'll need to go around and behind the waterfall to find a lower platform. Jump down onto it – there's a chest here. Use the shell you're carrying to smash it open. Inside, you'll find a Launch Star that will whisk you away to a secret area.

When you land in this new spot, look up! You'll see a Golden ? Coin floating high in the sky. Your goal is to get a Cataquack to stand underneath it. Lure one of the Cataquacks over, and when you jump on its back, it'll give you a big boost, letting you reach that coin. Be super careful though: if the Cataquack tumbles into the water, you'll have to start luring it all over again. After you grab the coin, a platform below will rise a bit, and an Ice Flower will pop up.

Grab that Ice Flower! Mario will transform into Ice Mario, which is key for this next part. As Ice Mario, you can walk on water and create temporary ice platforms. This power doesn't last long, so you'll need to be quick. Head towards the two waterfalls at the far end of the lake (don't go for the ones to the left of where the Ice Flower spawned). You'll need to wall jump between these two waterfalls to reach a higher platform. Once you're up there, quickly wall jump between the next pair of waterfalls to reach another higher platform. This last platform only has one waterfall. Jump off it and immediately into the sling star to get to the final area.

You're almost there! In this last section, you need to guide a Cataquack across the water to the Power Star. There's an Ice Flower right at the start. Use it to create an icy path for the Cataquack to follow. The best strategy is to head to the platform on the right first, with the Cataquack trailing behind you. Then, make your way towards the area directly beneath the Power Star. Keep an eye out for those big ice chunks that can smash your path – they're a real hazard! Once you've got a clear path, guide the Cataquack to the spot under the Power Star, then jump on its head to reach the star itself.
