The Rising Planet

When you first land, you'll see a button. Ground pound it! This makes the planet rise, but watch out for those Brick Blocks – getting caught underneath is a quick way to lose a life. Once you reach the top, hop into the Launch Star to head to the next area.

Hidden Star Chips in the Hidden Tower

On this next planet, ground pound the button again to make a tower shoot up from the sand. You'll see five Star Bits scattered around the tower. Grab all five, and a Launch Star will pop out, zapping you to a new spot with tricky sand levels.

Low Tide Secrets

Normally, you'd have to fight a Big Thorny Flower here to find a Launch Star. But for this hidden star, we do things differently! Wait until the sand levels are at their absolute lowest. You should see a wooden stump. Ground pound it! This will make musical notes appear. Collect all of them, and another Launch Star will show up, taking you to the final area for this star.

Buried and Caged Power Star

Okay, this is the main event. You'll land on a planet with a turret that fires Bullet Bills from both sides. First, hit the blue button. This makes a tower rise up right under the turret. You'll also see a bunch of Dry Bones and three cages. One cage has Star Bits, another a Rainbow Star, and the last one... you guessed it, our Power Star!

Now, here's the trick: you need to get those Bullet Bills to chase YOU. Lure them over to the cages. The idea is to have the Bullet Bills blow up the cages. If you need to lower the tower (maybe you messed up the Bullet Bill timing or want to reposition), there's a red button nearby. But be warned, pressing the red button will sink the cages back down into the sand.

Warning: If you break a cage, the Power Star will pop out on top of the tower. You'll then need to press that red button to lower the tower so you can actually grab the star. Don't forget this step!

It might take a few tries to get the Bullet Bills to cooperate and not hit the Dry Bones. Just keep luring them, dodging, and aiming them at the cages. Once a cage is destroyed and the star is accessible, remember to lower the tower to collect it. You've got this!
