Comet Star: Plunder the Purple Coins

Before heading towards the ship, collect the coins nearby the starting location. At the bottom of the water, find 10 Purple Coins in a circle on the ground.

Find 1 Purple Coin near the back wall and 2 Purple Coins underneath the starting platform.

Head back up onto the starting platform to get another 1 Purple Coin.

To the right, find 2 extra Purple Coins near the boxes. One is on the edge of the water, and one high in the air that requires a backflip.

On a dock just to the left, find 1 Purple Coin.

Head over, past the Ghost Ship towards the left wall, where there are multiple ledges. On the ground level, find 2 Purple Coins.

Jump up to the slightly higher ledge to grab another 2 Purple Coins.

From there, backflip onto the ledge above, and walk along it to grab 3 Purple Coins.

On this level, backflip onto two separate higher ledges. On the higher ledge to the left, grab 3 Purple Coins (including one that requires a backflip). On the ledge to the right, grab 4 Purple Coins (including one that needs a high jump). At this stage, you should have 31/100 Purple Coins.

On the wooden crate steps up to the ghost ship, collect 3 Purple Coins.

On the main deck area, pick up 13 Purple Coins.

Head up to the right to the deck below the crow’s nest and pick up 8 Purple Coins, bringing your total to 57/100.

Find 2 fairly hidden Purple Coins right beneath the floor of the crow’s nest. To grab them, backflip then wall jump against the wooden mast and then spin to get a little higher.

Climb up the pole towards the crow’s nest. Jump off at the top and fall into 3 Purple Coins to the left.

Find 10 Purple Coins in a circle on the crow’s nest platform.

Grab 1 Purple Coin in the center of the nest that requires a backflip. At this stage, you should have 71/100 Purple Coins.

Before heading into the water, long jump over to 1 Purple Coin just north of the crow’s nest.

When you land in the water, find 8 Purple Coins on the left side of the ship.

At the back of the ship, beneath the crow’s nest, find 3 Purple Coins just above the water.

Swim under the ship and grab 9 Purple Coins, bringing your total to 92/100. Some are on the ground and some are near the bottom of the boat.

Swim to an underwater platform near the shore of the cave, where you can find 3 Purple Coins.

Collect the last 5 Purple Coins on the surface of the water near the front of the Ghost Ship.

When the Power Star spawns, hop back up onto the Ghost Ship’s main deck to finish the level.
