Alright, let's tackle the second level in Gold Leaf Galaxy, "Cataquack to the Skies"! This one's all about using those bouncy cataquacks to get around. We'll also be looking for the hidden star, "The Bell on the Big Tree," but we'll focus on getting through the main level first.

Walkthrough

You'll start on a planet and need to use a cataquack to get off. Head up the hill to find one penned up. Just run into it, and it'll launch you! They'll actually chase you, which is super handy for later when we need to position them just right.

The first cataquack at the top of the hill will launch you into a Sling Star, which sends you to the next part of this planet. You'll find more cataquacks in a pen here. Before you hop into another one, make sure to grab the Bee Mushroom that's sitting on a lilypad nearby.

Use the cataquack to get some height, then fly a bit to reach a higher platform. Run along the ledge and jump down to a hidden platform. You'll find a Launch Star there that takes you to the next planet.

You'll land in a puddle and lose your Bee Mario form. Here, you need to get a cataquack to chase you across the planet. Once it launches you from the flat part of this spherical world, you'll be able to reach the next planet.

Now, things get a bit maze-like! You'll need to guide another cataquack through a maze on this planet. There are some wooden crates blocking the path, so you'll need to break those to clear the way. Your goal is to guide the cataquack to the side of the planet with a slightly raised wooden platform. Get the cataquack to launch you from there to the next area.

Once again, you'll need to guide a cataquack, but this time there are multiple! You need to lead one to the edge of the wooden platform where you'll find a Launch Star.

You'll land on the underside of a planet. Head up towards the planet. You can take out the Octoguys on the way for some extra Star Bits. Once you reach the top, you'll find an Undergrub and a cataquack. It's best to take out the Undergrub first – just ground pound near it and then jump on its head when it's stunned.

After dealing with the Undergrub, lead the cataquack to a small grassy mound. Use the cataquack to jump from there and grab the Bee Mushroom. Now that you're Bee Mario, take the cataquack back to the Jenga Tower-like structure and use it to launch you upwards. You'll need to fly the rest of the way to reach the very top.

Finally, you'll need to fly between flowers to reach the Power Star on the last one. Watch out for the bugs flying around, as they're hostile to Bee Mario!

Tips

Remember that cataquacks will chase you, so you can lure them into position to get the exact launch you need.
Don't forget to grab the Bee Mushroom on the lilypad early in the level; it's crucial for reaching higher platforms.
The maze planet requires careful navigation. Break crates to clear paths and guide the cataquack strategically.
In the Jenga Tower section, defeating the Undergrub first makes it much easier to lead the cataquack to the grassy mound.
Watch out for the hostile bugs when flying between flowers at the end of the level.
