Big Bob-omb on the Summit

Learn the strategy to defeat King Bob-omb on the summit in Super Mario 64. Pick him up and throw him three times to earn the Power Star!

Stats / Weaknesses:

• King Bob-Omb: Unlike regular Bob-ombs, he won't explode. His main attack is trying to grab Mario and throw him off the mountain.
• Weakness: Can be picked up and thrown like a regular Bob-omb.

Phases:

1. Phase 1: King Bob-Omb walks around the summit. He'll try to grab Mario. If he succeeds, Mario is thrown off the mountain, and the fight resets.
2. Phase 2: After being thrown once, King Bob-Omb's turning speed increases slightly, but this effect is temporary and wears off after a couple of steps.
3. Phase 3: Repeat the process of picking up and throwing King Bob-Omb two more times.

Strategy:

• The main goal is to get behind King Bob-Omb.
• Once you're behind him, pick him up just like you would any other Bob-omb.
• Throw him off the summit. Any direction will do, just get him off the edge!
• Be careful not to let King Bob-Omb grab you. If he does, he'll toss you off the mountain, and you'll have to start the entire fight over.
• After the first throw, he'll turn a bit faster for a short while, but don't worry too much about it. Just keep repeating the grab-and-throw tactic.
• Toss him a total of three times to defeat him and earn the Power Star.
