Bully the Bullies

Learn how to grab the 'Bully the Bullies' Power Star in Super Mario 64's Lethal Lava Land! This guide walks you through defeating the three Bullies and the Big Bully.

Alright, for this star, you'll need to take on some more Bullies in Lethal Lava Land. When you start the stage, head towards the first Bully you see just past that big archway. Now, you *could* go the same way you did for the 'Boil the Big Bully' star, but let's try a different route this time. Take the right path at the next fork.

You'll come across some platforms shaped like upside-down pyramids. These guys move based on where you're standing, so be super careful not to fall into the lava below! Keep an eye out for the volcano; there's a ring-shaped platform spinning around it. Hop onto that, and then you'll need to wait for the lava to go down on the bridge that connects to the snake-like walkway. Timing is key here!

Once you're across that walkway, watch out for the Bubbles floating around – they can be a real pain. Try to ignore that bouncy block with the faces on it; it's more likely to mess you up than help. After that, you'll see four square platforms that dip into the lava. Wait for your moment, jump across them when it's safe, and you'll reach a large platform where three Bullies are waiting for you.

Dealing with three Bullies at once can be pretty chaotic. Your best bet is to try and stay out of the others' reach while you take them out one by one. Once you've successfully sent all three of them swimming in the lava, a Big Bully will drop down. Your final task is to bump this Big Bully into the lava to snag that star!
