This guide details how to collect all 100 Purple Coins in the Red-Hot Purple Coins mission. This mission is only available in Melty Molten Galaxy when a Purple Comet is present, which occurs after completing the main story.

Walkthrough

Near the starting area, before heading onto the sinking platforms, collect 34 Purple Coins found on the ground and across lava ponds and fire springs. Some require timed jumps and long jumps.

On the first sinking platform (resembling a see-saw), collect 9 Purple Coins. Some are located under the platform, requiring you to let it sink low to grab them.

On the next sinking platform, let it sink to collect 3 Purple Coins.

On the subsequent longer sinking platform, let it sink almost all the way to collect 5 Purple Coins.

After letting the platform float back up, backflip spin on the stone part to grab 1 easily missed coin.

On the side of this stone section, find 1 more coin. You should now have 53/100 Purple Coins.

From the shore next to the long platform, long jump back to some small sinking platforms to the left to find 2 more coins.

Head onto the larger stone pillar and collect the circle of 6 Purple Coins.

Proceed right over a series of small sinking platforms towards a wall jumping section, collecting another 8 coins along the way.

During the wall jumping section, time your jumps to avoid fire springs. Collect 1 coin halfway up and 3 coins at the top. Two of these require a tight upward jump at the platform's edge.

Return to the main section of the larger rock formation and head up the steps to collect 5 Purple Coins hovering above fire springs.

Behind the row of fire springs, find 1 extra Purple Coin.

Ground pound the concrete block to lower a wall jumping structure and collect 1 more coin, avoiding the fire. You should now have 80/100 coins.

At the top, head right onto the platform to grab 5 more Purple Coins.
