Begin by using motion controls to steer the ball across a narrow zig-zag path. Tilt your controller/console slightly for precision. You can jump across corners if confident. A 1-Up Mushroom is available near the second corner.

Build speed up a ramp to smash two concrete blocks on the left. Then, gain speed and jump against the wall ahead to create a bridge to a new platform.

Fall into the hole on the new platform, which launches you to a sloping platform with coins. Fall into the next hole, landing on rails. Brake by tilting your controller/console upwards upon reaching the next area to avoid falling off.

Head over the north ledge and wait for the spinning bridge and ledge to line up before rolling across. When reaching the yellow cog, either jump over or wait for the orange cog to align.

Proceed to the red platform to the north-east. Wait for the moving metal block to create an opening before quickly rolling across the narrow bridge to another large orange cog.

On the Bob-omb Cog, quickly roll across to the other side and jump onto the small yellow cog platform to avoid exploding Bob-ombs.

From the yellow cog, cross the bridge to the circular platform with a Goomba. Go down the red ramp to the left, which leads to rails for a speedy journey. Collect Star Bits that spawn during this section.

In the final stretch, navigate a narrow path while avoiding two rotating steel blocks. Use the final rotating block to ascend to the high platform at the end by rolling onto it as it comes around.

Roll into the finishing hole. The ball will explode, revealing the Power Star. Climb the pole behind the hole to collect it.
