The Elite Four stand between you and the Champion title. Each trainer has a unique team with specific strengths and weaknesses. This guide provides the Pokémon, levels, types, and recommended strategies to overcome each challenge.

Elite Four Molayne

Molayne specializes in Steel-type Pokémon. He has a varied team that can inflict status conditions and hit hard.

• Klefki: Uses Spikes, Reflect, Thunder Wave, and Flash Cannon. Fire and Ground-types are recommended.
• Bisharp: A slow, hard-hitting Pokémon with Night Slash, Iron Head, and Aerial Ace. Fighting-types are ideal, but Fire or Ground-types are also good.
• Magnezone: A potent special attacker with Thunderbolt and Flash Cannon. Ground-types are ideal (4x damage), with Fire and Fighting-types as solid choices.
• Metagross: Physically bulky but not fast. Uses Meteor Mash, Zen Headbutt, Hammer Arm, and Bullet Punch. Fire, Ground, and Ghost-types are recommended, as are special attackers.
• Dugtrio (Alolan): Fast and hits hard but is frail. Uses Earthquake, Iron Head, Sucker Punch, and Fissure. Water and Fighting-types are preferred. Consider a Flying-type to counter its Z-Move.

Elite Four Olivia

Olivia's team is primarily Rock-type, with some diverse secondary typings. She can hit hard and inflict status effects.

• Armaldo: High Attack and Defense but slow. Uses Rock Blast and X-Scissor. Water, Rock, and Steel-types are ideal.
• Cradily: Balanced stats but slow. Uses Energy Ball, Rock Tomb, and Stealth Rock. Fighting and Steel-types are recommended.
• Gigalith: Exceptional Attack and Defense, terrible Speed. Uses Stone Edge and Bulldoze. Causes a sandstorm upon entry. Grass, Water, and Ground-types are ideal.
• Probopass: High defenses but otherwise lackluster. Uses Rock Slide, Earth Power, and Thunder Wave. Ground and Fighting-types are ideal, Water-types are also good.
• Lycanroc (Midnight): High Attack and solid stats. Uses Stone Edge, Crunch, and Counter. Ground, Fighting, and Steel-types are advised, but be mindful of Counter.

Elite Four Acerola

Acerola specializes in Ghost-type Pokémon, which can be tricky to counter due to their immunities and status-inflicting moves.

• Banette: High Attack but middling stats. Uses Shadow Claw and Feint Attack. Dark-types are ideal, or Normal-types with Ghost/Dark attacks.
• Drifblim: High HP but poor defenses. Uses Ominous Wind and Amnesia. Electric, Rock, Ice, and Dark-types are effective.
• Dhelmise: High Attack but slow. Uses Shadow Ball and Energy Ball. Fire, Ice, Flying, and Dark-types are fine choices.
• Froslass: High Speed and decent stats. Uses Blizzard and Shadow Ball. Fire, Rock, Dark, and Steel-types are recommended.
• Palossand: High Defense and Special Attack, poor Speed. Uses Shadow Ball and Earth Power. Dark-types are ideal, and Normal-types can negate its Z-Move.

Elite Four Kahili

Kahili's team consists of Flying-type Pokémon, making them vulnerable to Rock, Electric, and Ice attacks.

• Skarmory: High Defense. Uses Steel Wing and Spikes. Electric and Fire-types are recommended.
• Crobat: Very fast. Uses Cross Poison and Acrobatics. Electric, Ice, Rock, and Psychic-types are effective.
• Mandibuzz: High defenses. Uses Foul Play and Air Slash. Electric, Ice, and Rock-types are recommended.
• Oricorio (Sensu Style): Uses Air Slash and Confuse Ray. Electric, Ice, Rock, Ghost, and Dark-types are effective.
• Dragonite: High Attack and Special Attack. Uses Dragon Claw and Hurricane. Ice-types are ideal, with Rock and Electric-types as good alternatives. Be wary of its potential Z-Move.
