    From the entrance, head north, then west. Inspect the suspicious checkout counter with your Poké Finder to trigger a battle with a wild Gastly (Ghost/Poison).

    Continue west along the south side. Check the peculiar shopping trolley with your Poké Finder to trigger a battle with a wild Haunter (Ghost/Poison).

    Go around the colorful table to the right, then north between the table and the leftmost checkout counter. Proceed to the north-west corner (frozen section).

    From the corner, head south-east, then east between the shelves. At the end of the shelves, inspect the frightening display towards the north-east corner with your Poké Finder. Look left or right to find the specter and trigger a battle with a wild Gengar (Ghost/Poison).

    Head west along the back of the supermarket. A familiar figure will appear. Keep selecting the first dialogue option.

    Save your game and make final preparations, such as placing a strong Steel-type Pokémon at the front of your party.

Tips
  • Recommended Pokémon: Dark and Ghost-types are generally good for the wild encounters. Normal-types with Ghost or Dark-type moves can also be useful. For the Totem Pokémon, Steel-types are highly recommended as it is Ghost/Fairy-type.
  • Gastly Weaknesses: Psychic, Ghost, and Dark-type moves. Ground-types cannot hit Gastly due to its Levitate Ability.
  • Haunter Weaknesses: Same as Gastly (Psychic, Ghost, Dark).
  • Gengar Weaknesses: Psychic, Ghost, Dark, and Ground-type moves (Gengar loses Levitate). Gengar has high Speed and Special Attack.
