Hey there! So you're looking to really boost your Legendary and Mythical Pokémon in Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon? Awesome! There are a couple of cool spots in the game where you can snag some really neat items that make those powerful Pokémon even stronger. Let's dive in!

Akala Island Power-ups

First up, if you happen to have the Mythical Pokémon Genesect (and if you don't, no worries, it's pretty rare!), you'll want to head back to the Aether Foundation trailer on Route 8. Remember where you first met Colress? He's back there!

Chat with Colress, and he'll hand over four special items: the Douse Drive, Shock Drive, Burn Drive, and Chill Drive. Think of these like special accessories for Genesect. When you give one of these drives to Genesect, it'll change the Type of its signature move, Techno Blast, to match the drive. It’s a neat way to give Genesect more Type coverage, kind of like how Arceus's Plates or Silvally's Memories work, but it only affects the move, not Genesect itself.

Aether Paradise Power-ups

Next, after you've finished up with the events involving Lusamine and the Ultra Beasts (Episode RR, remember?), make your way to Aether Paradise. Head to the Lab area and find Secret Lab A. This is the same lab Gladion was snooping around earlier in the story. Inside, look for a female employee hanging out in a corner.

Go up and say hi to her! She's got a whole bunch of items that are specifically designed to power up Legendary or Mythical Pokémon. You'll get the DNA Splicers, which are for Kyurem, the Prison Bottle for Hoopa, and the Soul Dew for Latios and Latias. It's worth noting that you can find Kyurem, Latios, and Latias through the Ultra Warp Ride feature, so keep an eye out for those!
