Walkthrough
- 1After visiting the Pokémon Center, return to the main road. Cross it and enter the red gate at the opposite corner. Head to the south-west corner of the area through the tall grass to find a Revive.
- 2On the main road, turn left at the T-junction. Follow the road south-west. Before the road bends, head north-west through a gap in the hedge to find a luxurious mansion.
- 3To the east of the mansion's door, find Totem Sticker #004 in the corner near the steps.
- 4Continue north-east past the hedge towards the swimming pool. Grab the Ether in the far corner by the palm trees.
- 5Enter the mansion and speak to the lady in the kitchen (top-right corner) to receive a Lumiose Galette.
- 6Go upstairs and enter the room to the far west. In the bottom-right corner, find Totem Sticker #006 on the side of the display cabinet.
- 7Exit the mansion and continue south-east along the road to the town hall.
- 8Inside the town hall, speak to the woman on the bench to receive a Revive.
- 9In the bottom-left corner of the lobby, grab Totem Sticker #008 from the bench.
- 10Exit the town hall and continue east. Where the fence ends, head north, then turn left before the red gate towards the town hall exterior.
- 11Peel off Totem Sticker #007 stuck to the wall.
- 12Return to the main road and approach the malasada shop. Hau will appear, followed by two Team Skull grunts.
- 13Defeat the Team Skull grunts (Zubat Lv. 9).
- 14Captain Ilima will arrive and challenge you to a battle.
- 15Battle Captain Ilima (Yungoos Lv. 10, Smeargle Lv. 11).
- 16After the battle, visit the malasada shop. The left clerk sells Sweet Malasada (eat in, increases Happiness), and the right clerk sells Big Malasada (take out).
- 17Squeeze through the gap between the malasada shop and the fence to find Totem Sticker #009 below the extractor fan.
- 18East of the malasada shop is the Alola Photo Club, which is not yet open.
- 19Cross the road between the malasada shop and the photo club. Enter the final enclosed area via a red gate. Head south-east through the tall grass to find TM49 Echoed Voice.
- 20Return to the main road and continue east past the photo club to the police station.
- 21Walk past the policeman outside the entrance. In the far corner, near the malasada shop side, find Totem Sticker #010.
- 22Return to the main road and follow it towards the bend. Near the corner, a red gate leads back to the first enclosed area. All red gates can now be used as shortcuts.
- 23Travel south along the final stretch to leave Hau'oli City.
Tips
- Zubat's Poison/Flying typing makes it resistant to Grass-type moves (taking quarter damage). Electric and Psychic-types are effective.
- Captain Ilima's Normal-type Pokémon have few weaknesses, primarily Fighting-type moves. Yungoos is a common early-game Pokémon. Smeargle can learn any move via Sketch, so be prepared for varied attacks.
- Feeding a Pokémon a Sweet Malasada can increase its Happiness, which is useful for evolutions like Pichu. This can only be done once per day.
