Navigate Diglett's Tunnel in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon with our comprehensive walkthrough. Find items, battle trainers, and discover hidden paths connecting Heahea City and Konikoni City.
Walkthrough
- 1Upon entering Diglett's Tunnel, head south to meet Kahuna Olivia. She allows passage after you show her 3 new Z-Crystals.
- 2Follow the tunnel south to a fork. Head east first along the narrow path.
- 3At the next fork, the upper path leads to a trainer (Worker Frank), the lower path avoids him.
- 4After Worker Frank, grab the Dusk Ball in the corner.
- 5Return to the initial fork and head west. Use Stoutland's 'Search' ability near rocks to find an Escape Rope.
- 6At the corner, search rocks above for a hidden X Attack.
- 7Switch to Tauros. North-west are stairs. Before climbing, smash rocks above the stairs with Tauros to find a Fire Stone behind them. This stone evolves Growlithe and Eevee (into Flareon).
- 8Climb the metal stairs. You'll see Aether Foundation employees and Olivia.
- 9Follow the slope south, then east. Pick up the Hyper Potion next to a wheelbarrow.
- 10For more battles, head south through a narrow path.
- 11Past the narrow path, carefully move west past a circling Pokémon, then north.
- 12At the end of this path, a large boulder is to the left, and a trainer (Worker Jeff) is to the right, blocking a ledge.
- 13Defeat Worker Jeff and his two Diglett. They are weak to Water, Fire, Ground, and Fighting.
- 14Jumping from the ledge east of Jeff returns you to the top of the stairs near the Hyper Potion.
- 15From the wheelbarrow area, continue east. As the path widens, slow down.
- 16Near rocky mounds patrolled by a worker (Worker Vaclav), search a crate to the right of a wheelbarrow for a hidden Nugget.
- 17Avoid Worker Vaclav by heading along the north side of the mounds when he's in the south-west corner, or by running east.
- 18Defeat Worker Vaclav, who uses an Archen (weak to Water, Electric, Ice, Rock, Steel). Its offensive stats decrease below half HP.
- 19Head south-east from the rocky mounds towards the tunnel exit.
- 20Before exiting, you must face a Multi Battle against two Team Skull Grunts with Hau as your partner. They use Salandit and Ekans. They are weak to Psychic and Ground-types, and Water/Rock for Salandit.
- 21After defeating the Grunts, Hau gives you a Max Ether.
- 22You can now leave the tunnel to reach Route 9.
