Guide your Pokémon through the treacherous Aether Paradise, battling Team Rainbow Rocket Grunts and the formidable Faba in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon.

Alright, you've made it to Aether Paradise in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon! It's time to push back against Team Rainbow Rocket. First up, you'll run into a few of their Grunts trying to block your way to the main residence.

After you've taken down all four Grunts, make sure your Pokémon are in top shape. As you get closer to the building, Lillie will catch up. But before you can head inside, you'll be interrupted by none other than Faba, the former Aether Foundation Branch Chief, along with one of his employees!

Battle Against Faba and Aether Foundation Employee:

This is a double battle where Lillie will join you with her Clefairy. While Lillie's Clefairy is there to help, you'll be doing most of the heavy lifting. Faba's team consists of:

• Claydol (Lv. 63) - Weak to Water, Grass, Ice, Bug, Ghost, Dark
• Bruxish (Lv. 63) - Watch out for Psychic Fangs and Aqua Jet. Grass, Electric, Bug, or Dark-types are good choices.
• Hypno (Lv. 63) - Beware of Hypnosis and Dream Eater. Dark-types are resistant to its Psychic moves.
• Granbull (Lv. 61) - Weak to Steel and Poison.
• Scrafty (Lv. 61) - Weak to Fairy, Flying, and Fighting.
• Shiinotic (Lv. 61) - Uses Spore and Dazzling Gleam. Fire, Steel, or Poison-type moves are effective.

Strategy Tips:

• Focus on the Employee First: The Aether Foundation Employee's Pokémon, Granbull and Scrafty, mainly use Snarl to lower your Special Attack. Their Shiinotic can put your Pokémon to sleep with Spore. It's generally easier to take out the employee's Pokémon first.
• Faba's Weaknesses: Remember Faba's Psychic-types are weak to Bug, Ghost, and Dark. Claydol is particularly vulnerable to these types.
• Lillie's Support: Lillie's Clefairy, while not a powerhouse, can help by setting up Light Screen, which will reduce damage from Faba's Psychic-type attacks.
• Dealing with Bruxish: This Pokémon hits hard, so try to take it out quickly before it can cause too much trouble, especially for Clefairy.
• Hypno's Hypnosis: If your Pokémon get put to sleep by Hypno, be ready for Dream Eater. Having Pokémon immune to Psychic moves, like Dark-types, can be very helpful here.
• Employee's Pokémon: Granbull is weak to Steel and Poison. Scrafty is weak to Fairy. Shiinotic is weak to Fire, Steel, and Poison. Consider these types when choosing your team.

Once you've defeated Faba and his lackey, he'll begrudgingly step aside. Now you can finally enter the crimson-colored castle through the main entrance!
