- 1Field Controls: Use the Circle Pad to move your character. The D-Pad can be used to access Poké Ride shortcuts. Press the A button to interact with the environment. Hold the B button while moving to run. Press X to open or close the field menu. Press Y to access or cancel Poké Ride. Save the game by pressing Y. The Touch Screen can also be used for interaction.
- 2Menu Navigation: Use the Circle Pad or D-Pad to navigate through menus. Press the A button to confirm an option or the B button to cancel. Press X to switch held items for your Pokémon. Press Y to switch Pokémon or view their summaries. Press L to switch to the first (left) page and R to switch to the second (right) page. The Touch Screen can be used to select or confirm options.
- 3Battle Controls: During battles, hold L and press A to check a move's details. Press Y to open the Poké Ball menu. The Touch Screen can be used to select moves or options.
- 4Soft Reset: To reset the game back to the title screen, hold L, R, and Start/Select simultaneously. Be aware that this will cause you to lose all progress since your last save.
Tips
- Holding the B button while moving allows your character to run in the field.
