Walkthrough
- 1After battling Hau back at Paniola Town, you will face him again in Malie City.
- 2Hau leads with his starter Pokémon, which will be Level 30 and can use a STAB Z-Move. Be prepared to counter it.
- 3Hau will evolve his Eevee into a Type that is strong against your starter. Switch your Pokémon to one that is super-effective or resists the evolved Eevee.
- 4His third Pokémon is Noibat (Level 28), which is weak to Ice, Rock, Dragon, and Fairy-type moves.
- 5Next is Tauros (Level 28), a Normal-type. It has the Intimidate ability, which lowers Attack, and its only STAB move is Horn Attack.
- 6Hau's final Pokémon is Alolan Raichu (Level 29), an Electric/Psychic-type. This is his most dangerous Pokémon due to its high Speed and powerful STAB moves like Psychic and Electro Ball. Ground or Dark-types are ideal to counter it.
- 7After defeating Hau, you cannot explore the city yet. Follow him by heading north-west.
