Stuck in Team Rocket's Castle? Follow this guide to find your way through the post-game challenges and defeat the Rainbow Rocket Grunts with Guzma's help.
Alright, so you've made it to Team Rocket's Castle! It's all red and imposing, just like you'd expect. Head straight for the door in front of you – it looks like it leads to Lusamine's room, but you'll find the teleporter behind the mirror is a no-go for now. Lillie's got a good idea: let's backtrack to the entrance and find another way in. As soon as you do, you'll run into a couple of Team Rainbow Rocket Grunts who seem pretty eager to fight.
- 1You'll face two Team Rainbow Rocket Grunts. They've got a Raticate (Normal) and a Fearow (Normal/Flying), both at Level 62.
- 2Don't worry too much, though! Guzma's here to help with his Bug-type Pokémon, starting with Golisopod. This fight is mostly for show, letting you team up with the former boss of Team Skull.
- 3To make things smoother, try to focus on taking down their Fearow. This gives Guzma a bit more room to work with his Pokémon.
- 4After the battle, the Grunts will split up and make their escape, but they're in such a hurry they forget to seal off their escape routes. This is your chance to follow them!
- 5Before you chase them, Lillie will step in to heal up your Pokémon. She'll hang back in the room behind you if you need another heal later on.
- 6Now, you've got two paths to take: the Grunts left doors open to the east and west, so pick one and continue your pursuit!
- Focusing fire on the Fearow will make the battle against the Grunts much easier, allowing Guzma to handle the Raticate.
- Remember to let Lillie heal your team if you take a lot of damage before deciding which path to take.
- Experience and progress in the post-game story.
