Walkthrough for the Aether Paradise Lab Area in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. Includes trainer battles, item locations, and strategies for defeating Faba.
Walkthrough
- 1You will face several Aether Foundation Employees in the Lab Area. The first employee has an Alolan Muk (Level 41, Poison/Dark). It is weak to Ground-type moves, with Steel-types being the next best option.
- 2The second employee has a Magneton (Level 41, Electric/Steel). It is weak to Fire, Fighting, and doubly weak to Ground.
- 3The third employee has a Porygon2 (Level 41, Normal). It can use Discharge and Signal Beam. Be aware it may use Magnet Rise to become immune to Ground-type moves.
- 4Next, you will face an Aether Foundation Employee and another Aether Foundation Employee. They have a Huntail (Level 41, Water) and a Gorebyss (Level 41, Water). Hau will assist you with his Alolan Raichu. Both opponents are slow, and Hau's Raichu's Electro Ball should be effective.
- 5After this battle, check the computer in the bottom-right corner for information. You can also inspect the bookshelf to the north. Then, leave the lab back to the corridor.
- 6Return to the elevator shaft. Secret Lab A is now accessible; inside, you can find a Full Restore in the bottom-right corner. The computer and bookshelf in this lab are also worth investigating.
- 7Back upstairs, you will face another pair of Aether Foundation Employees. They have a Lileep (Level 41, Rock/Grass) and an Anorith (Level 41, Rock/Bug). Hau will assist you again. Lileep is weak to Ice, Fighting, Bug, and Steel. Anorith is weak to Water, Rock, and Steel. Steel-types are ideal, and try to defeat Anorith first.
- 8After defeating the employees, Wicke will heal your Pokémon. Follow Hau and Gladion north to face Faba and his minions.
- 9You will engage in a Multi Battle against an Aether Foundation Employee and another Aether Foundation Employee. They have a Magmar (Level 42, Fire), Houndoom (Level 42, Dark/Fire), Electabuzz (Level 42, Electric), and Manectric (Level 42, Electric). Gladion will assist you with his Type: Null. Houndoom is weak to Fighting.
- 10Immediately after, you will face Aether Branch Chief Faba and an Aether Foundation Employee. Faba has a Claydol (Level 44, Ground/Psychic), Bruxish (Level 44, Water/Psychic), and Hypno (Level 45, Psychic). His employee has a Ledian (Level 42, Bug/Flying) and Pupitar (Level 42, Rock/Ground). Hau will assist you. Claydol is weak to Water, Grass, Ice, Bug, Ghost, and Dark. Bruxish is weak to Grass, Electric, Bug, Ghost, and Dark. Hypno can inflict sleep with Hypnosis. Ledian is weak to Fire, Electric, Ice, and doubly weak to Rock. Pupitar is weak to Ground, Ice, Fighting, Steel, and doubly weak to Grass and Water.
