Cross Vast Poni Canyon in Pokémon USUM. Battle Team Skull Grunt, Ultra Recon Squad Dulse/Soliera (Poipole Lv 49), and find TM93 Wild Charge.
Walkthrough
- 1You will encounter a Team Skull Grunt with a Level 45 Ekans (Poison). This Ekans has no attacking moves.
- 2Next, you will face another Team Skull Grunt with a team of five Pokémon: a Level 45 Fomantis (Grass), a Level 45 Mareanie (Poison/Water), a Level 45 Houndour (Dark/Fire), a Level 45 Golbat (Poison/Flying), and a Level 45 Alolan Raticate (Normal/Dark).
- 3After the battle, Lillie will heal your party.
- 4Proceed into Vast Poni Canyon. From the entrance, approach Hapu and Mudsdale near a large, leafless tree.
- 5The Ultra Recon Squad (Dulse/Soliera) will appear and challenge you. They have a Level 49 Poipole (Poison). This Poipole has Poison Jab, Fell Stinger, Toxic, and Nasty Plot. They may also use an X Sp. Def.
- 6After defeating the Ultra Recon Squad, head for the tree branches to the left of the cave where Lillie is standing. Crawl through the space underneath.
- 7On the other side, grab TM93 Wild Charge.
- 8Crawl back and approach Lillie in front of the cave. She will give you a Max Revive and restore your party.
Tips
- The first Team Skull Grunt's Ekans is very weak and has no attacking moves.
- The second Team Skull Grunt's Fomantis is unevolved and weak. Its Solar Beam is slow and not very damaging.
- Mareanie can use Poison Jab and Recover. Use Electric, Ground, or Psychic-types against it.
- Houndour can use Flamethrower and Foul Play. Use Water, Ground, Rock, or Fighting-types against it.
- Golbat can use Venoshock and Leech Life. Use Electric, Rock, Ice, or Psychic-types against it.
- Alolan Raticate can use Double Edge, Endeavor, and Sucker Punch. Use Fighting, Bug, or Fairy-types against it.
- The Ultra Recon Squad's Poipole is two levels higher than your last encounter. Repeat the strategy used previously. Ground-types are ideal, Psychic-types can be considered if not frail, and Steel-types are good for resisting damage.
- If necessary, you can fly back to a Pokémon Center and return to Vast Poni Canyon from the nearby glide spot.
