Walkthrough

    Speak to Jaer in the Druid Encampment and accept her challenge.

    You will be teleported to a battleground to fight Welcar. It is recommended to use Invisibility (potion or Ring of Invisibility) before casting defensive spells and defeating him. Welcar drops a random item and gold.

    Return to Jaer. She will give you a 4th Circle Ring and 150 XP. Speak to her again to proceed.

    In the second round, you will fight Henna. After defeating her, search her remains for a random item and gold.

    Return to Jaer. She will reward you with 150 XP and a 3rd Circle Ring. Speak to her again to proceed.

    In the third round, you will fight Janken and a Dire Bear. After defeating them, search Janken's remains for a random item and gold.

    Return to Jaer. She will reward you with 150 XP and a 2nd Circle Ring.

    To repeat rounds: Drop the Circle Ring you received from Jaer (any ring will do). Speak to Jaer again to restart the challenge from the beginning.

    When ready for the final round, speak to Jaer with a Circle Ring in your inventory.

    In the final battle, you will fight Elgar and a Dire Tiger. Upon defeating Elgar, you will receive 600 XP, a random item, and gold.

    Return to Jaer. She will reward you with 150 XP and the 1st Circle Ring, which grants the Stoneskin ability once per day. The quest concludes here.
Tips
  • This quest is only available to Druids (including multi-classed Druids).
  • Jaer will cast a spell to lower your spell resistance and remove any active defensive spells at the start of each challenge round.
  • Using Invisibility at the start of the first fight against Welcar can make the encounter easier, as he cannot see you.
  • Dropping the Circle Rings after receiving them allows you to repeat the first three rounds for significant XP gains, potentially leading to a couple of levels.
  • XP (variable based on rounds completed, 600 XP from Elgar, 150 XP from Jaer after each round).
