~ MAIN QUEST: TENSIONS RISING ~

Find Milly, an old lady in the district, who will tell you about a secret portal to Meldanen Estate in her house. She gives you a key to her home.

Go to Milly's house, located to the left of the Neverwinter Zoo at the top of the map.

Enter Milly's house and go through the door on the right to access the portal to Meldanen's Estate.

Inside the estate, on the right side of the starting room, find and take the Meldanen West Wing Key from a desk.

Head east to find the estate's exit and speak with Grommin, an Orc.

Persuade Grommin, and he will open a door for you.

Explore the area with prison cells and open a chest to find a Prison Key.

Use the Prison Key to free Samuel from the cell on the left.

Explore the rest of this floor and defeat a Meldanen Apprentice who casts Ice Storm.

Proceed through the door past the apprentice to enter Meldanen's Sanctum.

Explore the sanctum, defeat enemies, and collect items.

In the bottom right of the map, find a Blacklake Dryad in a cell.

Check the cabinet in the Dryad's room for the Silver Chalice of Moonbow, which is needed for Linu's Tale.

Attempt to open the Dryad's cell. This action will cause Meldanen to appear.

Warning: Meldanen casts Paralyze, Cone of Cold, and Fireball spells. Fight him until he stops fighting and talks to you.

Listen to Meldanen. You can choose to side with him and kill Formosa, in which case ask for the Master Key and let him live. If you agree to kill Formosa, return to Meldanen afterward but do not ask for the key.

Alternatively, you can choose to kill Meldanen. This earns you XP, the Staff of Meldanen, the Master Key, and Meldanen's Silver Tooth.

After Meldanen is gone (either by choice or disappearance), speak to the Blacklake Dryad in her cell.

The Dryad will give you the second Waterdhavian, a Lock of Dryad Hair.

Take the Lock of Dryad Hair to Lady Aribeth to learn more about the Waterdavian Quest and receive a reward of 150 XP and 500 gold.

If you completed Samuel's side quest, talk to Thurin in the Board Laid Bare for your reward.
