In the Trade of Blades, find and speak to the man named Grimnaw.

Hire Grimnaw as your henchman for 200 gold. You might be able to persuade him to join for less.

After the conversation, speak to Grimnaw again and choose the options "I just want to talk" then "Tell me about yourself."
