    Speak with Eltoora in Eltoora's Magical Sundries. If you're looking for work, she will offer you the quest to recover five tomes. You do not need to be a Wizard or Sorcerer to complete this quest. To buy equipment from Eltoora, give her a reagent; ask her for a list of acceptable reagents.

    Tome of Resonance: Located in the Neverwinter Wood Heart of the Forest area, in the cave to the east (Setara's House). Enter the house, go through the door directly south, and take the Tome of Resonance from the shining bookshelf.

    Tome of Ice: Located in the South Road in Wanev's Tower. Enter the tower through the main doors, go into the room directly below where you entered. Take the Tome of Ice from the glowing bookshelf.

    Tome of Fire: Located in Karlat's Tower in Jahreg's Castle in Charwood Village. Go to the room furthest south-west on the map and take the Tome of Fire from the glowing bookshelf.

    Tome of Death: Located in Quint's Tower in Jahreg's Castle in Charwood Village. In the room marked 'Bloodstained Book' on the map, bash open the glowing chest and take the Tome of Death.

    Tome of Life: Located in the Green Griffon Inn area in the North. Go to the north-east of the map and kill Zombies, then enter the Gravekeepers Shack. Speak to the Caretaker, who will provide information about the Arcane Brotherhood. You can persuade him to lower the price of the Mausoleum Key.

    Once you have the Mausoleum Key, go into the graveyard and enter the Arcane Brother's Tomb (marked on the map). In the tomb, kill the Zombies near the north-east gate. To the right of the gate, open a chest and take the Corpse Hand (needed for Grimnaw's Tale).

    Go through the broken gate and search a chest in the north-east corner for a Tomb Key. Use this key on the door in the north-west part of the map.

    Enter the large room and battle Toras, a Cult member of the Arcane Brotherhood. This is a difficult fight, especially for melee characters. Beware of Skeleton Mages and Zombie Lords. Toras uses powerful spells, including Paralysis. Characters below 10th level may struggle; consider hiring a henchman.

    After defeating Toras, search his remains for the Tome of Life and search the chests in the room for other items.

    Return all five tomes to Eltoora.
  • For each of the first four tomes returned: 500 gold and 125 XP.
  • For the fifth tome returned: 500 gold and 125 XP.
  • For completing the quest: No additional XP, gold, or items.
