~ HENCHMAN QUEST: DAELAN'S TALE ~

Follow our guide to complete Daelan's Tale in Neverwinter! Hire Daelan, find his lost Brooch in the Docks District, and earn a powerful reward.

Alright, let's get this quest sorted! This one's called "Daelan's Tale," and it's all about hiring a cool Orc named Daelan Red Tiger as your henchman. You'll find him in the Trade of Blades. First things first, you'll need to hire him. It'll cost you 200 gold, but if you're good at persuading people, you might be able to talk him down to a lower price. Don't worry if you don't have the gold right now, you can always come back later!

Once you've hired him, chat with Daelan again. Pick the "I just want to talk" option, and then select "Tell me about yourself." This is where his story starts to unfold. Keep in mind, though, that to get the *full* story, you'll probably want to be around level 6 or higher. If you're not quite there yet, your Journal Entry will let you know that Daelan will share more when you've gained more experience. So, after you level up, make sure to check back in with him!

Eventually, Daelan will tell you he needs you to find a specific item for him: a Brooch. This Brooch is chilling on a boat located in the Docks District. If you look at your district map, it's on the west side. When you get to the boat, you'll have to deal with some Bloodsailors – take them out! Once the coast is clear, open up a chest on the boat. Inside, you'll find the Brooch!

Bring that Brooch back to Daelan, and he'll be pretty happy. He'll reward you with 100 XP and a pretty sweet item: an Amulet of the Red Tiger Tribe +1. This amulet gives you a +1 bonus to Strength and makes you immune to Fear, which is super handy!
